UPDATE: 21 Years old Joseph Aukuso debuted in Waratahs win over Highlanders

Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii made a promising Super Rugby Pacific debut for the New South Wales Waratahs, contributing to their thrilling 37-36 victory over the Otago Highlanders on February 14, 2025. The match featured nine lead changes, with the Waratahs clinching the win in the final moments.

Suaalii, who previously represented Australia before playing provincial rugby, showcased his athleticism and skill throughout the game. He made a significant impact with a dynamic run in the 62nd minute, setting up a crucial try for winger Max Jorgensen.

The Waratahs’ victory was secured by replacement hooker Siosifa Amone, who scored a decisive try in the final seconds, with Jack Bowen successfully converting to seal the win.
