German power metal legends Helloween have officially announced that they are working on a new studio album, set for release in 2025. This highly anticipated record follows their successful 2021 self-titled album, which marked a grand reunion of past and present members, solidifying their place as one of the most influential bands in metal history.
Vocalist Michael Kiske confirmed that he would be recording his vocal parts at Mi Sueño Studio in Tenerife, Spain, early in the year. The band has been actively working on the album, with Kiske stating, “We’re right on it. We’re getting this done.” The production process promises to capture the signature Helloween sound, blending melodic power metal with modern elements.
The release of the new album will coincide with Helloween’s 40th anniversary celebrations, including a massive European tour starting on October 17, 2025, in Luxembourg. The band has also confirmed plans for an extended world tour into 2026, covering Asia, North and South America, and major festivals across Europe. Fans can expect new material to be showcased alongside their classic hits.
While no official tracklist or title has been revealed yet, guitarist Michael Weikath hinted that the album would push creative boundaries while staying true to their signature style. Given the band’s history of delivering powerful anthems like “Future World,” “I Want Out,” and “Skyfall,” expectations are high for yet another groundbreaking release.
As the 2025 release date approaches, fans eagerly await more details on Helloween’s new album, which is sure to be one of the year’s biggest metal highlights.
