Ohio State to Visit White House on April 14 for National Championship Celebration
Ohio State football is set to visit the White House on April 14 to be honored for their national championship victory. Head coach Ryan Day confirmed the invitation, calling it a prestigious tradition in college football.

The Buckeyes secured their first title since 2014 by winning four consecutive games in the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff. They defeated Notre Dame 34-23 in the final after overcoming Tennessee, top-seeded Oregon, and Texas.
This marks the second championship team visit to the White House since President Donald Trump’s second-term inauguration. The Florida Panthers were the first, followed by the Philadelphia Eagles, who are scheduled for April 28. Vice President JD Vance, an Ohio State graduate, adds a special connection to the Buckeyes’ visit.
