Kalen DeBoer feels Alabama football players are showing signs of a team with something to prove as it prepares to push through summer workouts.
DeBoer spoke to media members Tuesday in Destin, Florida at the SEC spring meetings. According to the Tuscaloosa News’ reporter, Nick Kelly, DeBoer is ‘excited about the hunger’ he is seeing from Tide players.
“Whether it’s to prove people right or prove people wrong, I don’t know,” DeBoer said. “Some people are excited about what it looks like. Others are casting some doubt…It certainly applies to the LANK mentality that they have. I’m excited to see what this summer brings about as far as their progression and building on what we did this spring.”
The Crimson Tide have had quite the transition over the last several months from Nick Saban retiring to multiple players transferring in and out of the program.
Things seem to be cooling down and falling into place for Alabama ahead of summer workouts.
