Bengals Devastated by the Loss of Two Players Following a Tragic Car Accident

Cincinnati, OH – The Cincinnati Bengals organization is reeling in shock and grief after two of their players were tragically killed in a car accident early yesterday morning.

According to reports, defensive tackle Josh Tupou and cornerback Allan George were traveling together in a vehicle when they lost control and crashed on Interstate 71, just outside of Cincinnati.

Emergency responders were called to the scene, but unfortunately, both players were pronounced dead at the scene.

“We are shocked and saddened by the tragic loss of Josh and Allan,” said Bengals Head Coach Zac Taylor. “They were two outstanding young men who were beloved by their teammates, coaches, and the entire Bengals organization. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.”

Tupou, 29, was a fifth-year veteran of the NFL and had been a key contributor to the Bengals’ defensive line. George, 25, was a second-year player who had been seeing increased playing time in the Bengals’ secondary.

The Bengals organization has announced that they will hold a memorial service for both players at Paul Brown Stadium on Friday at 2 PM.
