BREAKING: Celtic transfer target David Strelec 23-year-old striker for Slovan Bratislava collapse

David Strelec, a 23-year-old striker for Slovan Bratislava, was a transfer target for Celtic FC during the recent transfer window. Celtic reportedly offered £8 million for Strelec, but Slovan Bratislava valued him at £9.5 million, leading to the collapse of the potential move.

Following the failed transfer, Strelec’s father, Milan Strelec, expressed his disappointment, stating that a move to Celtic would have been “great.” He also referred to Celtic as an “intermediate step,” suggesting that a transfer to the Scottish club was not the final destination for his son.

Despite the transfer setback, David Strelec remains focused on his current club, Slovan Bratislava, and is determined to continue performing at a high level. His father emphasized that David is a professional and is taking the situation in stride, noting that “the world will not collapse” due to the failed transfer.

Celtic transfer target’s dad brands Hoops an ‘intermediate step’ as he takes swipe over rejected £8 million bid.
