Did Stefon Diggs’ relationship with Josh Allen sour toward the end of Diggs’ time with the Buffalo Bills? It did not, according to him.
Diggs on Tuesday opened up about his relationship with Allen after the wide receiver’s trade from the Bills to the Houston Texans during the offseason. Diggs had nothing but praise for his former quarterback, even saying that he doubted he would have the opportunity he had now if not for Allen.

“Josh is still my guy,” Diggs said. “People don’t really understand what it’s like to be out there. He really embraced me. He kind of had that southern hospitality. I probably wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for him. I got a lot of love for that boy, so y’all give him a hug and a kiss for me.”
Diggs may have thrown some shade at the Bills’ fanbase on his way out the door, but he is not going to do the same to Allen. There was some talk that their relationship might have been strained at times, but that may also have simply been the result of competitive passion.
The Allen-Diggs partnership was a highly fruitful one for both players. During his four seasons with the Bills, Diggs caught 445 passes for 5,372 yards and 37 touchdown catches.
