Mahomes is unquestionably one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks. Having led the Kansas City Chiefs to three Super Bowl victories and established himself in his Texas high school, he has a lot of street cred. His old mater is so proud of him that they have chosen to induct him into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame as a way of showing their appreciation. Considering they had to cut out another elite player to make room for him, that’s a huge thing.
Patrick Mahomes is one of the selections made by the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame Board of Directors for the upcoming class of inductees. He is joined by coaches Jeff Traylor and Curtis Barbay, as well as other well-known players Pat Thomas, Brad Goebel, John C. Norman, and Robert Griffin III. On May 10, 2025, in Waco, they will all be formally honored and inducted. Without a doubt, it’s a great honor for each of them.
