Good News: Gamecocks Confirm Luke Doty as Starting Quarterback Against Tennessee, Replace Spencer Rattler
Columbia, SC – The University of South Carolina Gamecocks have confirmed that redshirt sophomore Luke Doty will start at quarterback against No. 5 Tennessee on Saturday, replacing injured starter Spencer Rattler.
Doty, a 6-foot-1, 210-pound quarterback from Myrtle Beach, SC, has been preparing for this moment.
“I’m excited and ready to lead this team,” Doty said. “We have a great game plan in place, and I’m confident in my abilities.”
